Breakdown

If breakdown is due to mechanical malfunction, and there are no other people, vehicles or damage to property involved, follow these steps in order given:

• have all the necessary information ready before you call us at IEU or Service Center Irchel,
• call us at IEU:
  • Michel Nakano, T +41 44 635 48 45 (office hours: 8:30 - 17:30h, Monday - Friday)
  • Christina Früh, T +41 44 635 52 02 (office hours: 9:00 - 17:00h, Monday  - Thursday)
• after office hours, contact the road help from TCS Schweiz (phone 0800 140 140 in Switzerland - see yellow copy in plastic document holder).

The large, grey box in the trunk contains reflective vests (one per person) and a first aid kit. Details about where in the vehicle what has to be stowed varies from country to country. Avoid possible fines and troubles by reading about it before you set off.
