Required papers for first time drivers

Before renting a car for the first time, you must register with us.

Please submit the following documents to car@ieu.uzh.ch :

1. A signed form from your cost center's P.I.
   Blank forms are available from us or can be downloaded below.
    
2.  A copy of your driver's license (both sides).

•  If you have been living in Switzerland for more than one year, your foreign driving license may no longer be valid in Switzerland.
• Please ensure that you review the guidelines (available in German) before attempting to reserve a vehicle.

First-time drivers should visit the Y25-G-66b office in person at least one day before the planned journey to receive important instructions such as where to park the vehicle and to clarify any unanswered questions.
