Available Vehicles

Our department has seven vehicles available for use by IEU staff members.

Parking Information

All our vehicles are parked in the underground parking structure at Level D. Once you exit the elevators, turn left, then cross to the second row of parking spaces. You’ll see the IEU sign hanging from the ceiling. Please keep in mind that the VW Amarok has a dedicated space, and no other vehicles should park there due to its length.

Vehicle Responsibilities

Before using a vehicle, inspect it for any defects, such as scratches, dents, or dirt. If you notice any issues, document and inform us before driving. Once you leave the university grounds, the last driver is responsible for any damage or cleaning that may be required. Outsourced cleaning or repairs will result in additional costs.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel your vehicle reservation anytime before the reserved date. To do so, please contact us by phone or email at car@ieu.uzh.ch. Be aware that no-shows will be charged in full.

Traffic Violations

In the event of a traffic violation, the fine will be forwarded to you. Please ensure you pay it promptly to avoid further legal action. You are responsible for paying the full fine.
