Research interests
I am interested in mechanisms that maintain biodiversity in changing environments. Using aquatic protists as model organisms, I have investigated if evolution and dispersal can rescue species from extinction in changing environments. In my ongoing research, I am exploring how biodiversity and environmental change influence the predictability of ecological dynamics.
