PhD Milestone Overview
The progress of all PhD students in our program has to be tracked through an online system:
PhDs at Faculty of Science, UZH have to use the MNF Student Admin tool.
PhDs at ETHZ have to use Student Admin tool. Members of LSZGS from other universities need login via Edu-ID: this works only if an account exists already and the account uses the e-mail defined as contact address in edu-ID. Confirm with the LSZGS that an account exists and which e-mail must be used.
It is the responsibility of the PhD to keep the PhD progress tracking up to date and meet deadlines.
Please see here for deadlines
UZH Defence deadlines

There should be 6-12 weeks between your dissertation submission and your defence date.
Make sure your thesis committee members are available at your defence.
